Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Rich “King” Williams, operating as Kalm Kode, handles information in connection with kalmkode.com, purchases, and customer inquiries. Contact hello@kalmkode.com with privacy questions.
Information you provide
When you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any details or attachments you choose to include. We use this information to respond, discuss requested work, and support purchases. Please do not email passwords or full payment card details.
When checkout is available and you place an order, we collect the contact, billing, and order information requested at checkout to process the purchase, provide access or delivery, handle support and refunds, and maintain transaction records. Guest checkout is enabled; customer account registration is currently disabled.
Payments
The store uses WooPayments, which works with Stripe, to process payments. Payment and transaction information is shared with the payment provider to complete transactions and help detect fraud. Payment providers handle payment credentials through their systems. See Automattic’s privacy policy and Stripe’s privacy policy for their practices.
Visits, cookies, and analytics
The site uses Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats to understand visits and improve its tools and content. These services process technical and usage information such as pages visited, referring pages, browser or device details, and IP-derived approximate location. They may use cookies or similar technologies. See how Google uses information from partner sites and Automattic’s visitor privacy notice. Google provides an Analytics browser opt-out add-on.
WordPress and WooCommerce use cookies and similar technologies for functions such as login, shopping sessions, and understanding how visitors arrive before an order. WooCommerce order attribution and analytics scripts are installed. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser; blocking them can affect site and checkout functions. Browser cookie controls do not necessarily stop every analytics request.
Comments and subscriptions
Where commenting is available, the site collects the comment and the name and email address provided, along with technical information used to administer comments. Approved comments and their displayed author details are public. Gravatar may receive a hash of the commenter’s email address to display an avatar. Where subscription options are shown and you choose to subscribe, Jetpack processes the subscription details. See Automattic’s visitor privacy notice.
Service providers and external links
Hostinger provides website hosting and the hello@kalmkode.com mailbox. Google provides the existing Gmail contact mailbox. Automattic provides Jetpack features, including statistics and site protection. These providers process information involved in delivering their services. Their privacy information is available from Hostinger, Google, and Automattic. Providers may process information in countries other than yours.
The site also loads Hostinger Reach’s embed script, although the WordPress Reach integration is not currently connected to an email-marketing account. Links to county resources and other outside websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Retention and your requests
Automatic deletion periods for WooCommerce orders and inactive accounts are not currently configured. Those records can remain until manually removed. Email correspondence, comments, and related records may also remain in the systems used to provide the site and support customers. This policy does not promise a fixed deletion period. Payment providers and other service providers apply their own retention practices.
You can email hello@kalmkode.com to ask about personal information we hold, request a correction or copy, or request deletion. We may need to confirm your identity before acting. Some information may need to be retained for transaction records, security, disputes, or legal obligations. Any rights required by applicable law remain available.
Updates
We will update this policy when the site’s practices change.
